We are a small, locally owned storage facility at 514 6th St. in Franklin, Pennsylvania, serving Franklin and the surrounding Venango County communities. The office is ours, the property is ours, and the person who answers the phone works here.
We built Franklin Easy Storage because the alternative for most people around here was renting from a company headquartered several states away, with a phone number that reaches a queue.
People usually need storage at an awkward moment. A house sale that closed faster than expected, a renovation that spread into two more rooms, a parent moving in, a business that outgrew its back room. That is not the moment to be on hold.
So the things we try to get right are ordinary ones: pick up the phone, know which unit you are asking about, and sort the problem out the same day where we can. Kiah Scheffer has rented two units here for three years and wrote that we have always worked with her on payments. That is the part of this we care about most.

The office is staffed Monday to Friday, 9 to 5. Leave a message outside those hours and we will call you back the next business morning.
Every unit is ground level with drive-up access, so you back a vehicle to your own door. No stairs, no elevator, no trolley.
The property is fenced and gated. Every tenant gets their own access code, video cameras cover the gate, the drive lanes and the unit rows, and you supply your own lock, so you hold the only key to your unit.
These are drive-up units and they are not climate controlled. Temperature and humidity inside follow the Franklin weather. For furniture, appliances, tools, lawn equipment, seasonal gear and business stock that is a good trade. For photographs, paper records, electronics, instruments or artwork, climate-controlled space is the better answer, and we will tell you so before you rent rather than after.
Everything is month-to-month. No minimum term, no long contract. Rentals are set up on automatic payment with a debit or credit card, and there is a one-time $20 administration fee at move-in. You can manage the account, update a card or schedule a move-out yourself in the tenant portal.
Sizes that are open can be rented online in about five minutes. Sizes that are full have a waiting list that takes under a minute to join, costs nothing, and needs no card. We work that list by hand from the office and call people as units come free. Lon Wilkins found us when everything was booked, left a voicemail, and was called back the next day.
