I grew up in the Elizabethtown area with a deep love for animals, which led me to start working as a veterinary assistant at the age of 14. I continue to work in this role while also handling bookkeeping duties. Although I initially considered pursuing a career as a veterinarian, balancing my professional life with time at home when my children were younger guided me toward bookkeeping. Today, I manage the financial side of things for the family of the company owner, all while enjoying my work with animals.
As a child, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, a goal I started working toward early on by becoming a veterinary assistant. Today, I still work as a veterinary assistant and also serve as a bookkeeper, finding satisfaction in both my love for animals and my financial expertise.
While the Bible is my go-to book, another favorite that I've cherished since high school is The Scarlet Pimpernel. The way the hero keeps his identity a secret, even from his wife, makes it a captivating and enduring read.
